She is down to earth, funny, and you actually want to read what she writes. She puts these little labels next to her clothes and actually gives links to where you can buy the clothes.

On a personal note: I just bought that house of harlow ring in the second picture and have yet to take it off. I bought the matching earrings a few months ago. I just need the necklace and I will be super matchy matchy.

So on June 17th right when it opened I went to the Topshop Pop Up Shop. It was located in a parking lot on Queen Street West and Soho Street. They did such an amazing job decorating, you would never know that it was a parking lot. The event ran for three days and it was amazing! People you do not understand it was the most fun I have ever had shopping, ever. There was music, frozen yogurt and a contest.

Everyone there was either a blogger or a bloggers dream come true. There were Jeffrey Campbell Litas and Sam Edelman Zoes as far as the eye can see. I finally felt among my kind.

The only downside was that was one change room, which was smaller then an airplane bathroom. So myself and many others found a mirror and changed in front of that. To give you an idea, it was right under the "T" in my previous picture. So basically my cute tush was on display for everyone. Yes people, thats right I was a little naked in the middle of Queen Street. I just kept telling myself I'm sure they have seen crazier.

Note to self : if there is a chance where there will be no change room while shopping then do not wear a maxi dress. But it was all worth it because I purchased a lace dress I thought only existed in my fairytales.

I just had to post this. I still can't believe she performed with a bald head. I do not care if it is real or fake. It still takes a lot of guts to do what she did. And I am to scared to get my hair ombre, even though I want to so badly. I have done ever kind of cut to my hair in the last six years. And I mean everything, but for some reason I am so scared to dye it.

So after seeing this video I decided to take a risk. I just have no idea where to go in Toronto. Yes I have become brave, but I would still like to go to a reliable place. A place that actually knows what ombre is, because my hair dresser has no idea. She looked at me like I was crazy. I do not care about price because I really want it. This has been what I have been wearing on my face for the last few months. Very winter, which means I need to change. I do not work for MAC, but how awesome would that be. They probably get an awesome discount. I was a huge tom boy when I was younger, so my mother used to buy me makeup. I think she was hoping I would play with it or something. Now thinking about it I have no idea why she would do it because I never used any of it, but it was all MAC. I just have a lot of MAC because it is what I am used to. I just know their products and the people who work their know so much. They also have the best return policies. Again, I do not work for MAC, ha.

I start off by using the Mineralize Foundation, which I like because it has a medium coverage. I feel it does the job and my face does not feel like I just painted it. I use the MAC 130 Short Duo Fibre Brush, which is just the one they advertised with this foundation. Then I use the Studio Finish Concealer, which is a huge fav of most people. I have used every MAC concealer and there are pros and cons to each. I feel like it is just personal preference. I put it on using my fingers. Then I use the translucent powder to set everything. I defiantly need a better brush to do this because I use a tiny brush and you are supposed to use a huge one. Please set your makeup because it is so necessary. I don't know about you, but I don't need my make up moving while I am out in public. Can u imagine talking to a cute boy and your face is falling off! You can use any powder and I just use this one because any shade can use this. I plan on trying some other powders this summer.

I cannot throw all this makeup and the brushes in my purse, so I walk around with the Studio Fix Powder. When I was younger I used to use this as my foundation. Basically I had no idea what I was doing. I am still learning and I feel like make up is just something you figure out the more you wear it. The packaging is perfect for carrying around. There is a mirror and there is also a compartment for an applicator. The best part is that it fits in almost any purse. I use it to get rid of shine and to touch-up.

I plan on changing my routine for summer, plus most of these products are running out. I plan on doing a post of what I would like to use. I went to Sephora yesterday and got some samples. I cannot wait to try them out. Sorry for the craptastic picture, but I kind of think its cool/ funny.

I was praying for Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen for weeks. I cheered when I find out the press spotted Sarah Burton entering Kate's hotel the night before the wedding. I think this is the most well received dress ever. I have never heard so many people love one single dress. I mean everyone from the average joe to the most famous fashion citric.

I am also in love with her sisters dress, which was also designed by Sarah Burton.

I did a post a while ago where I said I would like to share with you my blog crushes. I am also going to share my Youtube crushes. Since I did an obvious choice for my blog post I decided to do that with my Youtube one. If you don't know who this lovely woman is, then I you need to go on Youtube more often or just open a magazine.

The legendary Michelle Phan has made a name for herself through make up tutorials. Before she became a guru, she was a student and also worked as a waitress. Michelle joined Youtube in 2006 and has well over a hundred videos. In November 2010 Michelle reached 1 million subscribers and became the most subscribed woman on Youtube.

Michelle was hired by Lancome and some of her videos are sponsored by Lancome. Most of her videos feature Lancome products because lets be honest if someone gave you free makeup wouldn't you use it.

I just love her videos because she just takes a unique and has a fresh approach to everything she does. I have actually watched every single video.   Not secret, but I definitely shop more at J.Crew and Topshop than probably most editors do. Those are my staples.

While in school I studied photography. For one assignment in first year we had to show where our inspiration came from. People brought in photos, books, etc. I brought in a sketch book filled with images I found in magazines. The images were glued on the pages of the book. Basically, a crazy amount of collages. Over the last few years I have continued my image collection, but now I have a few sketch books. I now use these giant sketch books, so I can fit more on the pages. I will take some pictures of these sketch books and share them with you guys.

Those sketch books are filled with images I find in magazines. I have an external hard drive filled with images I have found online. (Mostly from blogs) Here are a few photographs I have saved in the last month. Let me know what you guys think and maybe I can make this a monthly thing. The last image is my dream outfit and for anyone who knows me, knows my key piece to any outfit are my black converse. Sorry for the ones I forgot. I will start keeping track of where I get my images from.

I kind of slacked at work yesterday and basically went on the usually shopping websites. I thought I would share with you what I now must own. The ASOS coat was sold out and I just kept checking and yesterday one was left in my size. I bought it right away. I have always wanted a coat just like that, and with a hood!!

I do not even want to show you guys the dozens of things I want from MAC and Sephora. But I did come across something called the Unii palette. I always depot my MAC eyeshadows, but this palette is amazing you can put any kind of brand in it. You guys have to check this out, just click on the caption. Do not forget to follow me.

New Years Help!

I would like to start off by wishing everyone a Happy New Years. This year I am not doing the downtown and crazy expensive party. I am going to a house party, and I don't think its a crazy one. Just a few dozen friends getting together. Now I don't care if it is just house party because I am dressing up. Over the last few months I have purchased four dresses and have yet to wear and I really, really want to wear one tomorrow night. So please leave me you advice.

So, I am sitting at work bored as can be. I deicded to check out my old blog from a year ago and you will never guess what I saw. Comments!!! People posted comments. I can't believe it. I am going to keep the blog as is, but just post whatever pictures I take. I am not sure if I will have the will power to continue to post, but I will try my best. RECESSION

We cannot go through a day without hearing the word recession. Well the ladies in these pictures are truly believers of this dark time. I know you cannot tell from the pictures, but it was -5 when their pictures were taken. I was wearing layers and layers and these girls were running around without jackets. I had some warm vanilla bean hot cholocalte in my system and my teeth were still chattering. I know going out is expensive, but the 2-5 dollars for the coat check has to be worth it, right?

All I can do is admire these brave souls, as they did not let the weather cover up their classy outfits.

THE POSE

The pose, we all have one. That one pose we use over and over again. No one knows why, but for some reason it just keeps showing up on our profile pictures. Please don't lie everyone has one, and yes that means you. If you don't believe me go look at your profile pictures on fbook and at least half of them have that one pose. Mine is squishing my face, and closing my eyes. I have a friend and every single profile pic her head slightly tilted to the left side.

No one quite knows why "The Pose" exists. It could either be a pose you do over and over again at every drunken party, or it could just be you like your face like that.

I asked these girls to pose like a model and this is the pose they gave me, which is classic drunk facebook pose. I actually love it. I'm not a very serious person and these two poses are probably, no exactly what I would have done. So go out into the world let lose and remember when those bulbs are flashing let out your inner pose.

I must be honest, these are my favorite pictures. I plan on having the second one framed. I just want to go out and have fun when I look at these girls. The sequins make me so jealous. I have no idea what it is, but when I see something shiny I want it. I walk around this world with a child-like sense of wonder and fashion is no exception. This is exactly why I love this time of year. Every piece of clothing is covered with glitter and sequins.

These pictures were taken on the way back to the subway after a long night of hunting fashionistas. Before taking this photograph I thought I was stuck, but this is what started to move my project into the right direction. I hate how some websites only post one image. I plan on posting two. Not going to lie, loving the diptychs.

These girls were so sweet and simply amazing. They were the first subjects who asked me about my camera. Since then I have been getting stopped on the street because everyone just wants to know more about my lovely Diana. I love the circle scarf. I have noticed it is a necessity this winter. Everyone seems to have these huge knit ones. Also, can everyone just look at those amazing red lips? I purchased my first tube of lip tint before the summer. I actually do not know what I did without it. Anyone who has ghostly pale skin like mine, should definitely own a giant nail polish sized bottle of it

AWHILE

So I'm back!!!! I was a little sick and had some other issues but I am definitely back. Last post I said I was a little stuck. Since then I have taken tons and tons of pictures and I think I have figured it out. First of all I made a huge mistake, which was shooting with 100 ISO. I have no idea what I was thinking.

This picture was shot with 100 and it would have been so much better with a higher film speed. The image just has so much information lost. These girls just blew my mind. This was a week before Halloween and I can only assume they were celebrating early. Like all the girls I shoot they were just fun, amazing, and of course fabulous. They had the best personalities. This little project of mine has become so much more than clothes. It is now all about the attitude. I have tried to focus more on having a little fashion shoot with women running from club to club. There will be more pictures to come and I promise they will have better quality.

Two things...

First, so I'm a little stuck with my assignment. I have been going out and taking pictures, but I think I'm going in a new direction. Maybe it is more about the clothes, and it might be about attitude.(Hmmmm) I am also having trouble with my Diana and the film. I hope I get images I like by Tuesday. You all will be updated on that.

Second, I just saw Annie Hall for the first time yesterday. I know....right. People, people don't give me that look. I know how could I lived this long without seeing this movie. I hate romantic comedies, but this, this was genius. I am in love and I want that life. I have been told that I sometimes dress like her, so I just had to see for myself. Basically I am changing my life. First I will buy a vest and tie and second move to New York.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen out there in blogersville. Well I have finally done it, I have created a blog. I have become obsessed with blogs over the past six months. I have a number of them bookmarked and I check them three times a day to see if there are any new updates. The sad part is I get upset when its been four hours without an update. Yup, defiantly have a problem. I have noticed the blogs I love have one goal and that is showing street style photography. If you don't know what this is go back under that rock you just climbed out from. Simply, its photographs of people posing on the street. The purpose of these photographs is to look at the outfits they wear and drool. I would like to do this around the streets of Toronto, Ontario. Keep checking because I will update soon, and please don't get mad if it takes longer than four hours.
